Colorless transparent liquid boiling point:150ºC(0.4KPa), flash point(open)155ºC, soluble in most organic solvent, slightly soluble in oils. Triethyl Citrate is innocuous plasticizer.
Use:
Triethyl Citrate is innocuous plasticizer, widely used in the plasticizer of cellulose resin and vinyl resin, used as leavening agent in food to improve the foaming properties of baking food, as antioxidant to stabilize soybean oil, salad oil, magarine and other edible fat and oil, as flavoring agent used in soft drinks, sugar and baking food, used as chelating agent and carrier solvent. Especially applicable to the industries including printing ink coating, innocuous PVC grain, pharmaceutical industry, soft toys for children, medical products and cosmetics production etc.
